Steven Merouse practices in the areas of complex commercial and business litigation and class action defense.
He has represented clients in litigation nationwide, involving a wide variety of commercial disputes, including commercial fraud, RICO, professional liability, business torts, real estate, and intellectual property, and trademark.
Steven has also represented corporations as plaintiffs in cases involving fraud, RICO, professional liability and business torts.
Steven has represented Royal Indemnity Company (now part of Arrowpoint Capital) in several commercial litigation matters, including multi-district, multi-party litigation arising out of failed subprime loan securitizations and subprime leases.
He has represented Allstate Insurance Company in defeating a class action related to statutory interest paid on insurance settlements. Steven has also represented Prudential Insurance Company in several opt-out cases from class actions challenging Prudential's business practices.
He has also successfully represented individual partners in a real-estate partnership on claims of malfeasance and breach of fiduciary duty.

Prior and Present Employment
Prior to joining Dentons, Steven spent five years in quality assurance and regulatory compliance in the biopharmaceutical industry. Among his areas of specialization were computer validation and drug product fill and finish.
