A seminar entitled “What’s next after safe harbor? Personal data transfers after Shrems ruling and latest changes in Polish Data Protection Law” will be held on December 11 in Warsaw. The event is organized by Centrum Promocji Informatyki.

Dentons will be represented by Dariusz Czuchaj, senior associate in the IPT&C team in the Warsaw office, who will give a presentation on recent jurisdiction concerning cross-border processing of personal data, including:

• Recent rulings in the Schrems, Weltimmo and Google Spain cases
• Role of the European Court of Justice in re-defining  European rules concerning data procession
• Influence of the Schrems ruling on the planned revision of European data protection law.
