Dentons has strengthened its Capital Markets practice in Warsaw with the arrival of a new partner, Jakub Celiński, PhD. He moved to Dentons after 20 years at Baker & McKenzie, where he co-headed the Securities Practice Group. He joined along with Senior Associates Piotr Kowalik and Ryszard Manteuffel. Celiński and his team are based in the Warsaw office and will be responsible for developing the Equity Capital Markets and Public M&A practices.

Jakub Celiński focuses his practice on equity and debt instrument offerings, securitization transactions and public M&A deals. He has vast experience in cross-border transactions, especially public share offerings by foreign companies listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, and dual listings. He frequently represents Polish and multinational companies engaged in capital markets. He is proficient in the legal aspects of financial services regulatory issues, staff equity benefits plans and private banking. Celiński currently lectures at the Warsaw School of Economics. Leading international directories such as Chambers Europe, The Legal 500, and The IFLR1000 recommend him in the field of Capital Markets.

Senior Associate Piotr Kowalik focuses on equity capital market projects, public offerings of Polish and foreign companies (with operations in Poland, the Czech Republic, Germany, Slovakia, Slovenia, Lithuania) and listings on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. He also provides regulatory advice on reporting obligations of public companies and brokerage activities by investment firms.

Senior Associate Ryszard Manteuffel leads projects connected with public and private securities offerings (including Polish, German, Ukrainian, Bulgarian, Lithuanian, Estonian, Austrian). His practice includes acquisitions of public companies, registrations of investment funds and regulatory advisory. Manteuffel has extensive experience in providing day-to-day advice to public companies, investment funds, investment firms and their shareholders.
