Johannesburg—Dentons is pleased to have won the award for Transportation and Infrastructure Team of the Year at the 2017 African Legal Awards. The annual awards, which culminated in an awards ceremony held in Johannesburg on 8 September 2017, also saw Dentons shortlisted for Litigation and Dispute Resolution Team of the Year and Property and Construction Team of the Year.
Dentons' success in winning Transportation and Infrastructure Team of the Year was a result of a significant cross-border rail project involving South Africa, the UK and Latin America. Dentons was perfectly placed to advise on the matter, given the Firm's vast experience with infrastructure projects in Africa and its presence in Latin America following expansion into the region in 2015.
