Paris—Dentons advises Bpifrance Large Venture in connection with DNA Script's €35 million fundraising campaign.

Alongside Bpifrance Large Venture, Life Sciences Partners is also taking an equity stake, in addition to the historical investors: Illumina Ventures, Merck Ventures, Sofinnova Partners, Kurma Partners and Idinvest Partners.

Founded in 2014, DNA Script is a young French biotech that produces synthetic DNA using modified natural enzymes, unlike traditional methods that use chemical components. In total DNA Script has raised more than €55 million euros since its creation.

The team working on the M&A transaction included partner Olivia Guéguen and associate Laura Godard.
