Kyiv—Dentons received two prestigious awards at the 13th annual Legal Awards, organized by the Ukrainian weekly Yuridicheskaya Praktika (Legal Practice). The Firm won "Best Employment Law Firm in Ukraine" and Ukraine Managing Partner Oleg Batyuk was named "Partner of the Year in Ukraine". The awards gala, regarded as Ukraine’s legal Oscars, took place in Kyiv on July 3, 2020.

Dentons was also shortlisted for the Law Firm of The Year in: Banking and Finance, Corporate, Energy, and Pro Bono, as well as Best Foreign Law Firm of the Year. In addition, two other Dentons lawyers received individual nominations. Partner Natalia Selyakova was nominated for both Best Lawyer in Banking and Finance and Best Lawyer in Debt Restructuring, and Maksym Sysoiev was nominated for Best Lawyer in Energy.

Established in 2006, Yuridicheskaya Praktika’s Legal Awards recognize the best law firms and lawyers in Ukraine in terms of quality legal services, significant transactions or disputes, strong financial performance, high-profile Ukrainian and foreign clients, management excellence, and pro bono activities. According to the rules of the competition, a law firm cannot receive more than two awards at the ceremony and cannot be shortlisted in the winning category the following year.
