Kansas City—Dentons, the world’s largest law firm, announces today that Patricia Lincoln has joined the Firm’s Trusts, Estates and Wealth Preservation (TEWP) practice as counsel. Lincoln, resident in the Kansas City office, will focus on estate planning, probate estates and business planning.

With more than 10 years of financial, estate and business planning experience, Lincoln was most recently a partner in private practice at another firm, where she focused on estate planning, special needs planning; decedents’ estates, guardianships and conservatorships; business formation; business succession planning and contract negotiations. Prior to her legal career, she worked at Retirement Concepts Group, an independent wealth management and insurance company, where she received her Life, Accident and Health (LAH) Insurance license as well as her Series 6 and Series 63 securities licenses.

“Patricia is a great addition to the Firm,” said Brian Raftery, chair of the TEWP practice. “Her experience and knowledge expand our Trusts, Estates and Wealth Preservation practice, which is already respected nationwide for its breadth and depth in representing high net worth individuals and family foundations.”

In addition to her practice, Lincoln serves on the board and on the Mentoring Committee of Earl E. O’Connor American Inns of Court, and she is Chair of the Johnson County Bar Association’s Probate Section for 2021.

Lincoln earned her JD and LLM in tax law from the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Law and her BBA from the University of Missouri – Kansas City.
