A cross-practice Dentons team with lawyers from the US and Canada represented Lignetics Inc., the largest consumer-focused wood pellet manufacturer in the U.S., in its acquisition by EagleTree Capital from Taglich Private Equity, a value-oriented financial sponsor that is focused on investing in the lower middle-market. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The team was led by Salt Lake City shareholders N. Todd Leishman and Elisabeth Calvert, and included shareholders Mark Astling, Brad Cahoon, Ian Davis, and Sarah Matthews, and associates Tyler Cahoon, Sam Goold, Ben Lehnardt and Brooke Nelson (all Salt Lake City). Partners Ausra Deluard (Oakland) and Stephen Lloyd (Montreal) provided their expertise for this transaction.
