Dentons' Real Estate team in Warsaw has advised Develia on nearly €70 million sale of Wola Retro office building in Warsaw with WR Office, a company managed by Adventum Group. The transaction was closed three months after the preliminary agreement was signed in January 2023.

Wola Retro is one of the most unique office buildings in Warsaw's Wola district, whose construction began in September 2017 and was finally completed in H2 of 2019. The investment, apart from two newly built A-class office buildings, also comprises an existing modernist building from the 1930s (a former building of the Supply Headquarters for Social Insurance Institution), adapted for the needs of modern offices in cooperation with a conservationist.

The total area of the complex amounts to 24,500 sq.m., while the maximum floor area can be of 3,300 sq.m. Wola Retro offers many modern solutions, a high standard of finishes and flexibility in space arrangement. The offer is complemented by a retail and service section on the first floor. The building is located near the most important transportation hubs of the capital, right next to the Plocka subway station.

The transaction, led by managing counsel Martyna Racz-Suchocka and senior associate Kornelia Borowiec, was supervised by Bartłomiej Kordeczka, Poland Co-Managing Partner and the Deputy Head of Real Estate practice group at Dentons.
