Jujuy Energía y Minería S.E. (JEMSE), the state-owned company from Jujuy, launched a US$55,000 lithium exploration tender.

The seven tender properties include exploration, mines and reserves in Salinas Grandes basin and Laguna de Guayatayoc located in the Province of Jujuy, both covering 11,000 hectares, to produce lithium carbonate. It is worth stressing that the areas included in the tender have a high potential for lithium production since they are one of the richest reserves in the so-called "lithium triangle", formed by Argentina, Bolivia and Chile.

Bids must be submitted before November 28, 2022. Bidding documentation is available at JEMSE offices in Jujuy.
