Gender justice is a human right and every human is entitled to live in dignity and in freedom, without any fear. WomenLEAD, a Dentons initiative, actively engages issues of gender-based violence, sexual harassment, and human rights violations.

In support of the global ’16 Days of Activism’ campaign, Dentons South Africa, through WomenLEAD, is hosting an interactive discussion on how we collectively as a private sector, community and society as a whole, can make a positive impact in eradicating the pandemic of GBVH.

We invite you to join the conversation with:

• Tabitha Lage – Founder of Hope Risen Foundation will address GBVH and human trafficking, and the role the private sector and media play in bringing awareness to human trafficking in South Africa. Tabitha will be accompanied by a human trafficking survivor;
• Paula Quinsee – Relationship and Life Coach, GBVH Activist who will speak about GBVH from her perspective and experience;
• William Bird – Director of Media Monitoring Africa, Human and Child Rights Activist will focus on how we uphold and protect these rights in the context of GBVH and the media;
• Diana Schwarz – partner at Dentons South Africa, renowned social media lawyer, Child Rights and GBVH Activist who will speak to online GBVH and harassment.
