Last year, Congress passed and President Biden signed the Infrastructure Investment in Jobs Act (IIJA). This bipartisan infrastructure legislation made historic investments in our nation’s infrastructure. In the IIJA, Congress and the Biden administration recognized that energy infrastructure is critical to our nation’s future and lawmakers provided over $60 billion in supplemental funding for the Department of Energy. Modernizing our electricity grid is a key part of the IIJA’s energy investments, and this virtual roundtable discussed the implementation of the IIJA with our guest panelists listed below.
