Calgary—Dentons is pleased to announce that Anthony Cole, partner in our Fraud, Corruption and Asset Recovery Group, is being honoured with a Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers (CAPP) 2015 Committee Recognition Award. These awards are bestowed upon CAPP committee members who demonstrate outstanding work, leadership and dedication to the oil and gas industry.

Anthony is being recognized for his work on the Revenue Transparency Task Force where he engaged in the development of the Extractive Sector Transparency Measures Act and supporting guidance material. His time, energy and expertise demonstrated on the Task Force have been identified as an exceptional example of commitment and contribution by a volunteer company representative on CAPP committees and working groups. In light of his contribution, CAPP is making a donation on Anthony’s behalf to post-secondary scholarships in disciplines related to the oil and gas industry.
