New York—Dentons, the world's largest law firm, has received multiple honors in the annual U.S. News –Best Lawyers "Best Law Firms" rankings with significant advances in Tier 1 rankings.

In addition, Dentons was recognized as the 2017 "Law Firm of the Year" in Native American Law. The Firm is one of only five to have been honored with this prestigious recognition since the inception of “Best Law Firms” in 2010

In total, Dentons received 164 rankings, including 35 national practice area rankings and 129 local or regional practice area rankings. Of those, the Firm was listed as "Tier 1" in 21 national practice areas and 58 local or regional categories in the 2017 survey.

"Best Law Firms" is an annual guide published by U.S. News  that employs a rigorous peer-review process, which includes surveying both lawyers and clients. For the Seventh Edition of “Best Law Firms,” 13,803 firms in the U.S. were eligible for recognition. This year there were almost 70,000 client submissions as well as roughly 900,000 reviews by peer-attorneys on a firm’s work as a whole in a specific area. As such, these results confirm the level of respect and confidence that our lawyers instill in peers and clients alike.
