David Tandy was recently featured in Louisville Business First, discussing how he's continued to serve the Louisville community following his departure from Louisville Metro Council. Announcing his decision not to run for re-election after more than 10 years on the council, Tandy wrote, "I look forward to serving my community as a private citizen and plan to remain involved in many worthwhile causes that are dear to my heart." He found that opportunity with BGD's Diversified Business Solutions practice.

"I'm still engaged in helping to grow and build our community's economy through my legal practice," Tandy says. "My goal is to help small businesses grow to be the next Manna Inc. or Houston-Johnson Inc." Outside of BGD, Tandy continues to contribute to the community through the Louisville Metro Diverse Business Fair he started in 2015. This year's event will be held on September 12 at Tavern on Fourth in Fourth Street Live! and helps veteran, woman, and minority small business owners connect with major economic players.
