Berlin—Global law firm Dentons grows as per 1 February 2017 by hiring Dr. Stefan Dittmer (51). Dittmer joins Dentons Berlin together with associate Fabian Hollwitz and other team members. The IP practice in Germany will thus undergo further expansion. Dittmer will among others closely cooperate with IP partners Peter Homberg and Dr.Constantin Rehaag.
He will advise companies on all aspects of Intellectual Property and Competition Law, on licensing law as well as on press law, in particular in the sectors technology, media and sports. Moreover, he will represent companies in civil law litigation before state courts and in arbitration proceedings. Prior to joining Dentons, Dittmer was a partner with DLA Piper and worked with Baker & McKenzie prior to that.

Dr. Stefan Dittmer is the fifth newcomer joining Dentons on partner/counsel level since the beginning of 2017. So far, Richard Fagerer as well as counsel Dr. Tannaz Jourabchi-Eisenhut joined the Munich Corporate/M&A team and Dr. Benjamin Kurzberg started as counsel in the German Restructuring practice in Berlin. As a result, 43 partners and all together more than 130 fee earners work for Dentons at this point of time.
