Inside Indiana Business reported that Terry Seitz, the mayor of Jasper, announced that more than $34 million in investments have been announced for the Dubois County city. Projects include expansions by Kimball International Inc. subsidiary Kimball Hospitality, German American Bancorp Inc. and SERVUS!
Community Development & Planning Director Darla Blazey agrees it's a busy time for Jasper, noting that "We've had continued investment from our established businesses and the interest in our community from new developers. All sectors of the economy are experiencing growth."
Bingham Greenebaum Doll LLP attorneys are playing a significant part in Jasper’s growth. Bill Kaiser and David McGimpsey will be assisting SERVUS! With its expansion and development, while Eric Schue and Bill Kaiser will be handling the major expansion for German American.
Also, Bill Kaiser is assisting Firm client, Legacy Living, with its development project. Legacy Living is the largest investment, totaling up to $18 million and plans to bring 25 to 30 full time jobs to the area. It is expected that the project will break ground in November on Legacy of Jasper, a roughly 110-unit development.
