Dentons, the world's largest law firm, is proud to announce that it has been named one of Stonewall's Top Global Employers 2018. The Firm is one of just 13 organizations around the globe to feature on this year's list.

Stonewall’s Top Global Employers showcases the best multinational employers for LGBT staff. The list is compiled from submissions to the organization's Global Workplace Equality Index, a powerful benchmarking tool used by employers to create inclusive workplaces across the markets in which they operate. The guide celebrates the pioneering efforts of leading organizations to create inclusive workplaces and advance equality for LGBT people, wherever they are in the world.

Dentons' Global LGBT+ Network has gone from strength to strength over the past year, providing support throughout the Firm and promoting cooperation between local LGBT+ employee network groups. The network also increases the visibility of issues affecting LGBT+ colleagues, while providing a means to explore new business opportunities with clients.

On 17 May 2018, Dentons held its first global Dentons Pride Day, to coincide with the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia (IDAHOT). Dentons' Pride Day connected LGBT+ staff and Allies across the Firm's regions around the theme of 'Be An Ally'. Explanatory leaflets and posters were distributed and a video in which senior global and regional leaders spoke about the importance of LGBT+ Allies was also sent to staff.

In June 2018, the Firm also held its third annual firm-wide Inclusion Events program, featuring a series of linked discussions, open to all lawyers and staff to join either in person or remotely, highlighting different aspects of inclusion and its importance across Dentons.
