This week, Dentons, the world’s largest law firm, celebrated the first anniversary of its entry into the Georgian market. The Firm opened its Tbilisi office in May 2017 with a team of highly-ranked lawyers. With a legacy dating back to 1996, the team is among the most experienced and respected in the Georgian market. In its first year, Dentons’ Tbilisi office advised both local and foreign clients on many of the most important litigation and competition matters, M&A and real estate deals, financing transactions and infrastructure projects in Georgia.

As a result, the office has earned top tier quality rankings in all major legal directories, and seven Dentons lawyers in Tbilisi have been ranked as leaders in the market. Most recently, The Legal 500 EMEA, published in April 2018, awarded Dentons 176 practice rankings across Europe. This year for the first time, the publication researched four practice areas in the Georgian legal market and ranked Dentons as “Tier 1” in all four practice areas.
