UK—Dentons is proud to be sponsoring ultra endurance athlete Jenny Davis, a lawyer who formerly worked at the Firm's Edinburgh office, in her solo attempt to ski 715 miles to the South Pole.

Beginning in December 2018, Jenny will attempt a solo, unsupported and unassisted ski to the South Pole from the Antarctic coast, aiming to beat the current women’s speed record of 38 days, 23 hours and 5 minutes.

She is also fundraising for Women In Sport and BBC’s Children In Need. She believes that women and girls are missing out on the lifelong benefits of sport in the UK and wants to promote and inspire their increased participation in such activities as well as the great outdoors.
