Bucharest, Romania—Dentons has successfully advised CEE Equity Partners Ltd on the acquisition by China CEE Investment Co-operation Fund II of 15 grain silos and logistics hubs from the Romanian based Brise Group, one of the largest agribusiness groups in the country, to create the First Open Access Agriculture Infrastructure Platform in Romania.

The assets are strategically located throughout the most productive agricultural areas in the country and have multimodal connections that allow road, rail and/or water trans-shipment directly within the properties. The assets will be further modernized and upgraded to increase the discharge, loading rates, storage, and treatment-related services as well as traceability.

CEE Equity Partners Ltd is the investment advisor for China CEE Investment Co-operation Fund II, established by China Exim Bank in partnership with other institutional investors from the CEE region to capitalize on investment opportunities in CEE countries. The objective of the fund is to partner with dynamic businesses and contribute to the vibrant growth of the economies in CEE, whilst providing good returns to the investors.
