As Canadian lead counsel on a number of high profile cases, Kirsten regularly helps clients prepare for and manage informational crises, data breaches, investigations and class actions. She provides counsel on privacy, data security and data management.

The Government of Ontario founded the Digital and Data Task Force in response to a growing number of emerging technologies, and the need to create robust protection strategies to maintain the privacy of personal data of Ontarians. The main areas of focus for this strategy will be promoting public trust and confidence, creating economic benefits, and enabling a better, smarter, and more efficient government.
