Abu Dhabi—Paul Jarvis, who becomes becomes UK, Ireland and Middle East (UKIME) CEO on 1 May 2021, has appointed Martin Fanning, a Technology, Media & Telecoms partner in London, as Clients and Markets Partner. This is a newly-created role which reinforces Dentons' client-centric focus and its deep commitment to client service excellence and innovation. Recognised by clients as an Acritas Star stand-out lawyer, Martin currently leads a number of global client relationships for the firm. Martin will carry out these responsibilities while remaining a full-time fee-earning partner.
This new role comes alongside an internal restructure to simplify and streamline the firm's legal practices and business services functions. New appointments go to Deepa Deb, Divisional Leader for Real Estate, Alastair Young, Divisional Leader for Middle East, Brian Moore, Divisional Leader for Corporate, and Richard Gaillard as Operations Director. These appointments compliment the recent hires of Darran Stevenson as Chief Finance Officer and Victoria White as General Counsel. As a result, Dentons' UKIME Executive Committee is now 36% female, as is 50% of its Board.
