Düsseldorf—Global law firm Dentons has advised UniCredit as documentation agent on the €90 million KfW backed term and revolving loan financing for ESF Elbe Stahlwerke Feralpi GmbH, Feralpi Stahlhandel GmbH and Feralpi Logistik GmbH. The financing is partly backed by German development bank KfW with UniCredit and BNP Paribas as arrangers and original lenders. The borrower will use the funds for eligible investments underKfW’s environmental program (Umweltprogramm) as well as for general corporate purposes.

Based in Riesa, Saxony, Germany, ESF Elbe-Stahlwerke Feralpi GmbH is among the tenth largest steel-producers in Germany. It produces steel products for the construction industry and belongs to the Italian-based Feralpi Group, one of Europe's leading steel manufacturers specializing in structural steels.
