London—Dentons has promoted a new senior executive team in the UK, Ireland and Middle East (UKIME) region with the appointments of Darran Stevenson as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Helen Simpson as Practice Partner. The newly-created roles replace the Managing Director role, and report into UKIME CEO Paul Jarvis.

As COO Darran will oversee the smooth running of the operational elements of the UKIME business, managing the Director team as they continue to transform business services. As Practice Partner Helen will be responsible for the success of the legal practices, working with the Divisional Leaders, Office Heads and others to help deliver Paul Jarvis' growth agenda.

Darran Stevenson joined Dentons in 2021 as Chief Finance Officer UKIME. He is an experienced commercial finance director with over 20 years' experience across a number of finance and wider operational leadership roles in professional services businesses.

Since joining Dentons in 2009 from Linklaters, Helen Simpson has been a commercial disputes partner, Board member and most recently Interim Divisional Leader for the UK Disputes Division, as well as being a member of the firm's CSR and I&D committees.
