Melbourne, Australia—Dentons has acted for Australian entrepreneur and SX Global CEO, Adam Bailey, on the restructure of the FIM World Supercross Championship (WSX).

Adam Bailey was advised by Dentons Partner Warren Scott and Managing Associate Scott Colvin on the formation of the investment syndicate and acquisition.

Supercross is an international motorcycle championship. The Championship is the premier series for international stadium supercross racing.

Adam Bailey, founder and CEO of the current WSX rights holder, acquired the business in its entirety, together with his new investment partners, Kyril Louis-Dreyfus and Juan Sartori.

Louis-Dreyfus is a highly successful French businessman with interests in English football club Sunderland and French club Olympique de Marseille, as well as esports organisation Ovation.  In fact,

Louis-Dreyfus was the youngest ever owner or chairman of a top-flight English football club.

Sartori is a Uruguayan businessman and senator and is the co-owner of Sunderland alongside Louis-Dreyfus. He is the President and founder of Union-Group, a privately owned investment firm that holds significant interests across an array of industries worldwide. He is also a Board Member and Vice President of top French football club, AS Monaco FC.
