Frankfurt—Global law firm Dentons has advised BEOS AG, part of Swiss Life Asset Managers, on the sale of two building sites of the FRANKFURT WESTSIDE neighborhood development with a total area of approximately 63,000 square meters. The buyer of the partial building rights for the two areas is the global data center operator CyrusOne.

With 81 megawatts on nine floors in two three-storey buildings, the site will be CyrusOne's largest development in Frankfurt to date and will focus on sustainability. The waste heat from the data centers will help heat the rest of the neighborhood, reducing the consumption of fossil fuels.

A joint project company of BEOS AG and Swiss Life Asset Managers GmbH took over the heritable building right to approximately 70 hectares of the former chemical plant from the owner Clariant Produkte (Deutschland) GmbH at the beginning of 2020. BEOS and Swiss Life Asset Managers are pursuing the goal of repositioning the quarter as FRANKFURT WESTSIDE.
