Today, H.R. 4984, the D.C. Robert F. Kennedy Memorial Stadium Campus Revitalization Act, passed out of the U.S. Senate by Unanimous Consent. The bill transfers control of the land to the District of Columbia for a term of 99 years, and allows for mixed-use development, including commercial, residential and a stadium.

This legislation represents a tremendous opportunity to drive economic development to the RFK Stadium neighborhood. It has been an honor to work alongside Capitol Hill leaders from both sides of the aisle, the Mayor Muriel Bowser and her team, and the NFL on behalf of the Commanders to make this vision a reality,” said Matthew Cutts, head of US Policy and Government Relations at Dentons.
