London—Leading global law firm Dentons has hired Rowena Rix as its new Innovation Lead. A legal operations leader with 20+ years' experience in law firm operations and legal technology, Rowena joins the firm from Mishcon de Reya, where she was Head of Legal Solutions. She is also an experienced regulatory litigator and data protection lawyer. She joined Dentons on 8 January.

Rowena will lead Dentons' Innovation team throughout the UK, Ireland and Middle East (UKIME) region, driving its strategy and portfolio of projects in areas including document automation, data visualisation, robotics, artificial intelligence and machine learning. This will include the continued deployment and expansion of the firm's version of ChatGPT, fleetAI, that empowers lawyers to apply generative artificial intelligence on active client matters.
