Paris—Dentons Paris accompanies SMAC’s management in the exclusive discussions between OpenGate Capital, SMAC’s majority shareholder since 2019, and Compagnie Financière Jousset (CFJ) for the acquisition of SMAC by a consortium led by CFJ and management. 

SMAC, headed by Franck Davoine, was created in 1884 and is now a leader in the French waterproofing and facades market. 

The Dentons Paris team, working on this project, is composed of Olivia Guéguen, Partner, Laura Godard, Counsel, and Pauline Barbou des Places, associate, for the M&A aspects and of Jérôme Le Berre, Partner, and David Levy, Counsel, for the tax aspects.
