Warsaw—Global law firm Dentons advised UniCredit S.p.A. in relation to the disposal of a non-performing loan portfolio composed of commercial real estate loan exposures to a consortium of investors. The portfolio has a total claim value in excess of €250 million.
Dentons supported UniCredit on the entire transaction from the bid phase through to execution and transfer of roles and security interests. The transaction is in line with UniCredit’s loan portfolio management strategy to keep non-performing exposure at minimal levels.
Partner Mark Segall, Co-head of the Banking and Finance practice in Poland, led the cross-border Dentons legal team together with counsel Surbhi Malhotra-Trenkel and supported by senior associate Lawrence Florescu, and associate Magdalena Luniak.
