Dentons announces today that Robert C. Santoro and R. Brian Seibert have joined the Firm’s Commercial Litigation practice as partners in the New York office. They join their colleagues from their previous firm, Aidan M. McCormack and Mark L. Santoro, who served as Deputy Chair of his previous firm’s Insurance Sector, Americas, represents major national and international insurers and reinsurers. He counsels clients through high-exposure, complex litigation and arbitration matters for some of the world’s leading insurance companies and businesses in the financial services, healthcare, aviation, manufacturing and technology industries. He has extensive experience advising clients in connection with insurance coverage matters involving energy and power, property, construction, cyber, directors & officers, errors & omissions, construction defects, professional liability, aviation, general liability and bad faith exposures. His 15 years of experience includes a secondment as in-house counsel for all lines of US business at a London-based Lloyd’s Syndicate.
Seibert has focused on international dispute resolution, insurance coverage litigation and reinsurance arbitration in his 20-year legal career. He represents insurers, reinsurers and state insurance departments in connection with the litigation and arbitration of claims, regulatory compliance and policy drafting. Seibert has dealt with claims throughout the United States and in nearly every continent. He is experienced with a wide variety of insurance coverage types, including first-party property, aviation, commercial general liability, event cancellation, pollution liability, marine cargo, liquor liability, terrorism, cyber liability and builder’s risk.
“With the addition of Rob and Brian, our litigation team continues to demonstrate our strong position as a clear choice for complex, high-exposure cases affecting our insurance and financial services clients,” said Sandy Hauser, head of Dentons US’ Commercial Litigation practice. “Having this highly regarded team of litigators join Dentons is a big win, and we couldn’t be more excited to see them get to work assisting our clients.
