Dentons’ Bratislava office has received the "Law Firm of the Year in Banking and Finance" award from the EPRAVO.SK legal news portal and Trend magazine.

This award recognizes Dentons’ position as one of the leading international firms in the Slovak legal market, particularly in Banking and Finance. Over the last year, Dentons has advised on many of the largest transactions in Slovakia’s financial sector for clients such as Penta Investments, UniCredit Bank Czech Republic and Slovakia, Tatra banka, Československá obchodná banka, Slovenská sporiteľňa, Citibank, Sberbank and Deutsche Pfandbriefbank. The Bratislava team was also instrumental in several major CEE deals, the most notable of which was the €300 million refinancing of Dr. Max’s operations across Central and Eastern Europe.

They were announced during a gala dinner in Bratislava attended by Slovakia’s legal elite. Partners Peter Kubina and Zuzana Šimeková, Counsel Stanislava Valientová and an Associate Petra Štrbová attended the ceremony. Peter Kubina collected the award on behalf of Dentons.
