The Italian legal publication Legalcommunity has recognized Dentons partners Federico Sutti and Sara Biglieri among the top 50 lawyers in Italy in 2022.

Italy Managing Partner Federico Sutti was recognized for the seventh year in a row as one of the top 10 lawyers in the country. Legalcommunity refers to him as "Il Regista" (The Director) and considers him one of the forerunners of the first generation of Italian legal managers.

Federico sits on both the Europe and Global boards of Dentons and is seen as a deal maker in the Real Estate sector. Under his leadership, the firm’s revenues continue to grow; over the past year it was up 25 percent.

This year alone he oversaw the acquisition of Palazzo Marini in Rome by Fort Partners and assisted Coima in a forward purchase deal with Logiman for a portfolio of logistics developments. He has also been advising Orion Capital in connection with the joint venture with CDS Holding for the €350 million Waterfront di Levante regeneration project in Genoa and advised GLP on several investments.

This was the third year in a row that Partner Sara Biglieri was recognized by the publication, moving up four places over last year to a ranking of 33^rd. Her enthusiasm for litigation has garnered her the name "La Battagliera" (The Fighter) by Legalcommunity.

Sara heads the Europe Litigation team and guides the growth of the practice on the Italian side, making it a true litigation hub. She serves as non-executive chairman of the board of Equita Group and has collaborated with economist and former IMF Director Carlo Cottarelli on the scientific committee of his "Programma per l’Italia" (Program for Italy). Among last year’s transactions, she managed Lu-Ve’s acquisition of Refrion as well as Saipem’s €1.4 billion capital increase.
