Luis Belart, counsel at Dentons Spain, has received the award for "Lawyer of the Year - Banking and Finance" at the Forty under 40 Awards organized by Iberian Lawyer. These awards recognize the excellence of lawyers and teams of professionals under the age of 40 in Spain.

The ceremony took place at the Hotel Meliá Princesa in Madrid on October 6, 2022. "This award gives visibility to the great work Dentons’ Banking and Finance team has done over the past year. I am honored by this recognition from my peers and the market," said Luis Belart.

In recent years Luis Belart has participated in important operations such as real estate financing for an amount of €1,5 billion granted to GIC and EQT in relation to certain logistics assets in Europe, the liquidity program granted by Banco Santander to IBM for an amount of USD €330 million or the export financing structure with CESCE coverage and tax lease for a vessel in the amount of €167 million.
