Partner Edward Lindsey, Jr. has received the Justice Robert Benham Award for Community Service in Georgia from the Chief Justice’s Commission on Professionalism. Lindsey was selected for the significant contributions he has made to the Georgia community.

Lindsey is a member of Dentons' Public Policy practice and serves as the head of the Firm's Georgia State Government Affairs team. He has more than 38 years of legal, political and leadership experience, including 10 years as a Georgia state representative and three terms as the House majority whip. He has served on the House Appropriations, Judiciary, Education, Ways and Means, and Rules Committees. In addition, he served as a member of the Uniform Law Commission and the Georgia Commission on Family Violence. James Magazine, a statewide political journal, often recognizes him as having been one of Georgia's most influential legislators.
