Dentons is proud to announce that the Daily Journal named partner Tania Moyron one of the “Top Women Lawyers for 2024.” Moyron was selected as one of the most accomplished women in California’s legal landscape.
Moyron chairs the Restructuring, Insolvency and Bankruptcy (“RIB”) practice for Dentons’ US Region and serves as co-chair of Dentons’ global RIB group. She has successfully advised clients in out-of-court and in-court restructurings, including representing companies in asset sales, complex settlement agreements, and related chapter 11 plans and financing transactions in the hospital, skilled nursing, senior living, financial services, retail, agricultural and entertainment sectors. Her recent achievements include selling 7 hospitals and more than 18 clinics and related restructurings that have facilitated continuing high quality, culturally competent patient care in underserved communities, including most recently advising Borrego Community Health Foundation, a nonprofit Federally Qualified Health Center, in implementing and executing a strategy that led to obtaining a court order stopping a threatened suspension of Medi-Cal reimbursements, obtaining a comprehensive settlement with the California Department of Health Care Services (“DHCS”), the sale of substantially all of its assets, and a confirmed chapter 11 plan that paid allowed unsecured claims in full and DHCS pursuant to the settlement agreement.
