Dentons is proud to announce that partner Tania Moyron received the Top USA Woman Dealmaker Award at Global M&A Networks’ 6th Annual USA M&A Mid-Market Atlas Awards. Moyron has successfully advised clients in out-of-court and in-court restructurings, including representing companies in asset sales, complex settlement agreements, and related chapter 11 plans and financing transactions in the hospital, skilled nursing, senior living, financial services, retail, agricultural and entertainment sectors.
Moyron chairs the Restructuring, Insolvency and Bankruptcy (“RIB”) practice for Dentons’ US Region and serves as co-chair of Dentons’ global RIB group. Her recent achievements include selling 7 hospitals and more than 18 clinics and related restructurings that have facilitated continuing high quality, culturally competent patient care in underserved communities, including most recently advising Borrego Community Health Foundation, a nonprofit Federally Qualified Health Center, in implementing and executing a strategy that led to obtaining a court order stopping a threatened suspension of Medi-Cal reimbursements, obtaining a comprehensive settlement with the California Department of Health Care Services (“DHCS”), the sale of substantially all of its assets, and a confirmed chapter 11 plan that paid allowed unsecured claims in full and DHCS pursuant to the settlement agreement.
