Dentons is proud to announce that Georgia Trend Magazine has named partner Thurbert Baker, partner Sam Olens and principal Eric Tanenblatt to its “Georgia 500: The State’s Most Influential Leaders” list for the third consecutive year. The list honors local leaders who are investing in their community and driving Georgia’s economy to new heights.

Baker co-leads Dentons’ US State Attorneys General practice and has served on the US Board and as global vice chair. He previously served 13 years as Georgia’s attorney general, and also spent eight years in the state House of Representatives, where he sponsored the HOPE Scholarship, awarded to Georgia residents who have demonstrated academic achievement and attend college in-state.

Olens is a partner in Dentons’ US Public Policy practice and a member of the Firm’s US State Attorneys General group. A two-time attorney general of Georgia (elected in 2010 and 2014), he is able to use his experience in government to assist Atlanta companies looking to do business locally and overseas.

Tanenblatt leads the Firm’s US Public Policy Practice, is global chair of Public Policy and Regulation and serves on the Dentons US Board. He is has served in the administrations of three US Presidents and as a senior advisor to a US Senator and Governor, and held a US Senate—confirmable post governing a federal agency. He is currently serving a two-year term as chair of the Buckhead Coalition, a civic organization focused on improving the quality of life for businesses, residents and visitors of the Buckhead community in Atlanta.
