Arthur Moore is a member of Dentons' Intellectual Property and Technology practice, resident in the Los Angeles office.
Arthur is a patent attorney with extensive experience in Fortune 500 companies including managing small IP law departments. His practice focuses on patent preparation and prosecution, and drafting and negotiating IP agreements in the areas of electrical/computer, physics/optics and mechanical arts. He also has significant trademark and trade secrets experience and a background in patent portfolio assessment and licensing.
Prior to joining Dentons, Arthur was Chief Intellectual Property Counsel for a Fortune 200 consumer products company in the consumer electronics sector, developing that company's IP portfolio management policies and systems, and IP planning for ventures and business alliances. In that position, he rapidly built a patent portfolio in the field of radio frequency identification (RFID), and co-founded a patent consortium of RFID tag manufacturers. He also planned a trademark marketing and enforcement program to protect cross-promotion arrangements with leading computer hardware and software companies and conducted IP infringement reviews to clear business acquisitions and business startups in patent-conscious industries.
He has extensive experience in filing and prosecuting patents in the areas of: electrical/computer arts (light emitting diodes and displays (LEDs), liquid crystal displays (LCDs), business-to-business and business-to consumer eCommerce, out-of-home advertising networks, RFID transponders, natural language understanding systems and other software, electronic security systems, and industrial automation), physics/optics arts (electrographic printing, video/laser inspection systems, micro-replication manufacturing, microwave susceptors) and mechanical arts (office products, printable media, security media, labelling attaching and printing equipment, glassware manufacturing, plastic and metal fasteners).
