Elliott Windfeld is an associate in Dentons’ Energy group in Calgary. His practice areas include energy regulation, litigation and transactions, along with competition, Indigenous and environmental law.
Elliott has assisted clients with matters before the Alberta Energy Regulator, Alberta Utilities Commission, Alberta Environmental Appeals Board and the Canada Energy Regulator. He has completed an internship at the Department of Justice – Department of Fisheries and Oceans, worked in the compliance department of a major energy trading firm, and participated in a secondment with the Alberta Electric System Operator (AESO).
Prior to entering the legal profession, Elliott worked in an engineering roll at a major Canadian energy company. He joined Dentons as a summer student in 2017 and articled with the Firm in 2019-2020.
In addition to his professional pursuits, Elliott is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys camping, canoeing, hiking and boating.
