Eric Elder is a member of Denton’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice group. Eric began working at Dentons in 2020 as a summer associate. Over the course of his practice, Eric has represented a diverse array of clients, handling matters ranging from nation-wide class action defense to complex real estate and construction litigation, contract dispute litigation, and regulatory compliance issues. In addition to his broad litigation experience, which includes drafting pleadings, managing discovery logistics, and briefing complex discovery issues, Eric has also helped multiple clients achieve favorable outcomes through successful dispositive motion practice and by defeating class certification efforts.
Before Dentons, Eric attended Washington University School of Law in St. Louis where he served on the executive board of multiple student organizations and worked as a senior editor for the Jurisprudence Review journal. Eric’s other prior experiences include assisting clients in mediation and negotiations with the Environmental Protection Agency while participating in Washington University’s Interdisciplinary Environmental Law Clinic and dealing with complex regulatory matters while working as a legal intern for the Department of Housing and Urban Development Office of General Counsel in Washington, DC.
