Dentons’ Real Estate team in Warsaw has advised GLL Real Estate Partners on the acquisition of the iconic Cedet building in Warsaw from Immobel Poland. The transaction value was €129.5 million. The property was acquired on behalf of a Korean fund managed by GLL Real Estate Partners.
Dentons has advised HSBC Bank plc on c. €635 million of real estate finance investment facilities to Chariot Top Group BV, a special purpose vehicle incorporated in the Netherlands and owned by an equity consortium including, amongst others, funds managed by Oaktree Capital Management, L.P. and Redefine Properties, to acquire a retail portfolio from Ares Management L.P., AXA Investment Managers – Real Assets and Apollo Rida. The deal is valued at around €1 billion.
Dentons advised a consortium of three German banks - Helaba, Deutsche Pfandbriefbank and Berlin Hyp - on the refinancing of the Warsaw Spire office complex.
