Act on ensuring access to critical raw materials – a new pillar of Poland’s natural resources securityMarch 31, 2025Poland: The Polish Council of Ministers has presented the key principles of the Draft Act No. UC83 on Ensuring Access to Critical Raw Materials and Resources Essential to the National Economy (“Draft Act”), which is expected to be adopted by the Council of Ministers in Q2 2025. Subsequently, the draft will be processed through the legislative process in the Polish Parliament before being signed by the President of Poland. The complete text of the Draft Act has not yet been published.

It introduces several important changes to the current regulatory framework for grid connection.
