The authority sets out measures intended to reaffirm the general duty of protection of the employer to protect the life and health of workers, and its contractual obligations in the event of impediment in the provision of services by workers. It aims to protect the income of Chilean families, and it also points out the effects of the closure of companies and other sources of employment, both by decision of the health authority and by voluntary decision of the employer.
