On June 23, 2021, the adjustments to the minimum wage were published in the Diario Oficial la Gaceta, which became effective as of July 1, 2021, without the possibility of retroactive claims. The increases were fixed as follows:

The productive sectors of tourism and agriculture, regardless of the number of workers in the company, have had a 4.01% increase in the minimum wage. Additionally, the minimum wage per hour has increased from thirty-five lempiras and twenty cents (L.35.20) to forty-one lempiras and seventy-six cents (L.41.76), regardless of the sector.

The Tax authority of Honduras has concluded that for tax purposes, the average minimum wage is now ten thousand six hundred and one with sixty-seven cents (L.10,601.67).
