Catamarca Minera y Energética Sociedad del Estado (CAMYEN S.E.) has opened Public Tender No. 01/2025, inviting companies to submit mining projects for the exploration — and potential future exploitation — of two promising areas in the Department of Tinogasta:

Filo de la Vicuña – Over 5,000 hectares with confirmed presence of gold, silver, and copper.
Gold Nugget – More than 4,000 hectares within a key copper-gold geological corridor.

Both sites are near the San Francisco International Pass, offering access to Pacific ports.
