• The ECB published its supervisory priorities for 2022–2024, based on its assessment of the main risks and vulnerabilities faced by significant institutions under its direct supervision.
• The European Banking Authority (EBA) published guidelines for institutions and resolution authorities on improving banks’ resolvability and it further consulted on transferability.
• The Dutch Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM) and the French Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF) published a joint position paper calling for the enhancement of the role of national competent authorities in the supervision of cross-border financial services within the EU.
• Spain’s Congress of Deputies has validated a royal omnibus decree-law, which most importantly transposes into Spanish law the Directive of the European Parliament and of the Council on the issuance and public supervision of covered bonds, creating a single market for them.
• Germany’s Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin) has launched consultations on several draft ordinances relating to the notification of material outsourcings.
