James McGann is a senior managing associate in Dentons’ Short Hills office and a member of the Firm’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution group. James’ practice focuses on mass tort product liability matters involving consumer and industrial products and chemicals. He is a skilled lawyer with extensive experience representing Dentons’ longtime client, a multinational life sciences company. Recently, James was part of the team that represented the client in an 8 week jury trial involving claims brought by 10 individuals who alleged their exposure to a chemical caused permanent cognitive and other health effects. James will continue to represent the company in future trials as well.
Prior to joining Dentons, James served as an associate in the Fidelity and Surety group at a full-service firm. James also served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Jose L. Fuentes, P.J.A.D.
James graduated cum laude from Rutgers Law School where he was awarded the Morris Gann Prize in Evidence. During his time at law school, he served as the Managing Notes and Comments Editor of the Rutgers Computer and Technology Law Journal.
