Kelly joined Dentons in 2009 as an Associate with the Firm, practicing in the Banking & Finance and Real Estate groups with a focus on project development and project finance.  Her ability to think and act strategically – along with her strong leadership aspirations – saw her quickly promoted to Partner, where she helped cement the Firm's reputation as a real estate leader in Ottawa. Kelly’s unique combination of industry knowledge and insight meets clients' business and practical needs, while focusing on the bigger picture to exceed their expectations. This skillset led to Kelly’s new role as Director of Practice Support and Optimization for the Dentons Canada Region, a role that was quite literally made for her. In this role, she provides strategic advice to the Firm’s national practice group leaders, putting forward ideas and strategies to optimize processes and technology to deliver higher value for clients.

As a mother of three young children, Kelly understands the particular challenges women face in balancing family life with a high-powered career. She is known for her commitment to the advancement of women within her own Firm and the legal community in general. A strong leader, Kelly has worked hard to support women around the boardroom table, strongly believing that women need to be where the decisions are being made. Through targeted business development support, mentoring opportunities, networking events and client events, Kelly continues to work with the team at Dentons to develop a platform for women to excel in their legal practice and business leadership.
